Hi Percy, Thanks for your comment and sorry to hear that you were kicked out. Unfortunately, the point that you missed, or that was perhaps not clearly enough explained, is that the rules imposed by the WA Liquor Licensing Authority are quite strict. Breaches carry very severe fines for both staff on duty and management. Those rules specifically forbid people to bring alcohol onto the property, not because we are profiteering, but because we are liable for any incidents caused by people being drunk on our premises, owing to the whole "Duty of Care" situation. We have to crack down on it because our licence is at risk. Would you risk thousands of dollars in fines for management and staff just to allow a non-conforming backpacker, who clearly has no respect for you and doesn't care about any possible consequences, to do whatever they feel like on your premises? Answer - no you wouldn't. If kicking out one person gets the message across to a group who are starting to put your livelihood at risk, then you do it.

Had such a great time here! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming - staff and other backpackers - and ended up staying longer than planned. Me and my friend met two girls from scotland and did a road trip around WA with them then returned to planet inn to be greeted by familiar faces. Always people up for having a few drinks and lots of different nights out planned led by Party Paul! Definitely a great place to stay and couldn't think of anywhere else i'd rather stay in perth :)
