Kim’s Engaged!

Kim and Michael

Kim and Michael

It’s official – the news we’ve been awaiting… Tony’s daughter and Planet Inn Backpackers’ very own Kim Inman and her long-standing heartthrob, Michael Hopper, have finally taken that giant leap into coupledom, the diamond ring has been purchased and they have announced their engagement.

Details of how it happened, such as who actually asked who, have been kept a clandestine affair (though we know that Michael didn’t really have a choice!!! LOL).

The couple escaped for a ‘long weekend of rest’ in the tranquil serenity of Dongara, where rumour has it that the big question was popped.

Naturally the big news was out on facebook, as is the modern way apparently, before any of the boring family members were let in on the secret.

Kim has indicated that the plan is for about a two year engagement, hopefully with some travel away from Australia, beforehand, though in true ‘Kimmy-fashion’ she is already planning the big event. Needless to say that everyone who knows the young lovebirds agree that it is a ‘Perfect Match’.

Kim and Michael already have the family home in the outer suburbs of Perth ( admittedly a rental property at the moment, though I’m sure that will change before too long), they also  have the wayward waifs – brothers Craig Inman, Simon and Jason Hopper, and of course Roxy the dog, plus 2 cars, a DVD collection and a boat, so I think we can all guess what will follow soon after the wedding!

So in conclusion, it remains only to say “Congratulations to Kim and Michael”.
